| This is a service and support company that provides design, installation and repair of all types of electronics, communications, information services technology, office automation, electrical, HVAC, and industrial instrumentation and control equipment. Included are Compaq and Dell based NT server system installations and local area networks, application service provider (ASP) provisioning, administration, data recovery, file management, data archiving, internet and intranet installation, as well as web page development using ASP, HTML, CGI, Java, databases, Netscape, MS Site Server, MS Commerce Server and Cold Fusion. Installed platforms primarily include Windows NT Server in conjunction with Netfinity and Citrix Winframe. Extensive installation of hubs (3 Com, Bay Networks, Cabletron, etc.), routers (Lucent, 3 Com, all series of Cisco), switches (Cabletron, Cisco, Hewlett Packard), firewalls (Max-Lucent, Cisco Secure Pix 500 Series), Ethernet, Cat 5 and RG 58 network cabling, and server room electrical instrumentation and control setup. Occasional use of portable network sniffers and protocol analysers. Installation and support of Windows 2000, Windows XP, AD, Office 2000, MS NT BackOffice, Lotus Notes, and Domino server. Set up of many mail, remote and dialup applications such as PC Anywhere, Laplink, MS Mail, CC Mail, RAS, ACT, etc. Network configuration management services using Support Magic (with Lotus Notes database engine), Timbuk 2, and SMS. Installation, construction, and configuration of NT server RAID arrays, MS Mail and Exchange server, SQL server, internet phone and video teleconferencing instrumentation as well as CD ROM multiple drive servers including read/write drives. Communications equipment installations of complete office telephone PBX systems with operator consoles, paging, data lines, modems, and fax. Documentation and generation of single and multiple line electronics instrumentation schematic blueprint drawings using AutoCad and OrCad. Production of ladder loop logic diagrams in order to diagnose, maintain, and calibrate customer instrumentation and control equipment. Used oscilloscopes, RF spectrum analysers, signal generators, digital volt meters, electrical wire and cable tools, and quality assured (QA) soldering practices. TCS has served a base of well over 1000 individual business and homeowners. This part-time company takes second priority to my full time consulting work. |
